Alumnus discusses hip hop and urban planning

Alumnus and expert on “Hip Hop Inspired Architecture” Michael Ford '06 was highlighted in the Detroit Metro Times article, “How architecture and shitty urban planning created hip-hop,” Aug. 25.

Ford, who was born in the heart of Detroit and studied architecture at University of Detroit Mercy, breaks down how bad urban planning in the Bronx gave birth to hip-hop.
